The BLIZZARD 603e Power Board is the powerful, yet inexpensive PowerUP Accelerator Board for Amiga 1200 systems. It features a high-performance PowerPC603e RISC processor, available at different clock speeds, an 68LC040, 68040 or an 68060 companion processor and a memory expansion option for up to 128 MByte of high-speed memory by use of standard SIMMs. As an important additional feature a graphics board direct slot is also implemented, enabling the customer to use the powerful graphics board BVisionPPC without the need of an additional bus backplane. By using the direct slot, bypassing the limitations of the Zorro bus system, the performance of the BVisionPPC is significantly higher than the performance of Zorro-bus based graphcis boards and will allow a new generation of applications on Amiga 1200(T) with a BLIZZARD 603e Power Board.

This board comes without a Fast-SCSI-II Controller. The SCSI-Controller cannot be upgraded.
